WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - Below is a list of DC area restaurants closed at least twice since 2012 for violations so serious, health inspectors repeatedly suspended their licenses.

Since beginning to track restaurant health risks in 2012, WUSA9's Restaurant Alert has identified hundreds of violations - ranging from licensing citations to rats, roaches and mice, operating without running water, or soap, or towels - all over the DMV.

Prior to reopening, restaurants pass re-inspections indicating they have resolved primary violations.

If you have seen a restaurant violation, click here to contact your area health department - and trigger an inspection.

Restaurants were ordered temporarily closed by inspectors who identified health violations that could not be immediately resolved.

Prince George's County does not provide any digital data and therefore you will not find any inspection histories of restaurants in that area.
