Missing nonverbal autistic teen found

Martin Odonye is a 16-year-old teen with autism and down syndrome. Odonye is also nonverbal. The alert was issued Saturday night just before midnight.

WASHINGTON — D.C. Police has located the missing teen. 

Police say, Martin Odonye, is a 16-year-old, with autism and down syndrome. Odonye is also nonverbal. The alert was issued Saturday night just before midnight. 

He was last seen in the 2200 block of K Street, Northwest, wearing a green camo tracksuit and purple crocs. Odonye is Black and about 5-foot-2. 

Police did not say where Odonye was found, but that it was within 24-hours of the alert being issued.
