RESTON, Va. — A juvenile is facing rape charges after police say he trapped a woman in an apartment complex laundry room and attacked her at knifepoint.
According to the Fairfax County Police Department, the abduction and sexual assault happened in Reston Monday night. Officers were called to the 11900 block of Winterthur Lane for a reported rape.
Investigators say, the woman was in the apartment building's laundry room when an underage boy threatened her with a knife before raping her.
Detectives found the boy and arrested him. He is being held without bond at the Fairfax County Juvenile Detention Center on charges of rape, forcible sodomy, and abduction with the intent to defile.
The victim told police she recognized the boy from seeing him around the area but that they did not know each other before the attack.
