20-year-old arrested in connection with deadly Fairfax County shooting

Jeremiah Mouzon faces a 2nd-degree murder charge after a shooting on December 30.

WASHINGTON — Mount Vernon Police arrested a 20-year-old on Thursday that it believes shot and killed one man and left another one injured on December 30 in the Alexandria section of Fairfax County. 

Jeremiah Mouzon has been charged with 2nd-degree murder, malicious shooting and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, according to police. 

The deadly shooting happened around 2:30 a.m. in the 7900 block of Sausalito Place. Upon arrival, authorities found one victim, Kamren Quick, 18, of Alexandria suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
