We've provided a sprinkle of #BlackGirlMagic to your day.

WASHINGTON — Every girl grows up wishing they could be someone great, someone impactful, or someone that is living the dream. Well, a group of black women made that narrative come true.

A viral photo of eight black women firefighters has all of social media gasping for air and waiting for an immediate rescue.

The women are members of the Prince George's County Fire Department and they've been announced as the department's newest firefighters.

The picture is so fire, it needs to be framed for all to see. These women changed the game and looked fabulous doing it.

There's a whole lot of glitter in this picture because the #BlackGirlMagic is shining bright, okay!

Prince George's County Fire Department recently made history by hiring Chief Deputy Tiffany Green as the first female African-American Fire Chief to serve the department.

Green spent more than 20 years volunteering with the fire department before assuming the role as the leader.

People are seeing these impactful changes to the county, even Prince George's County Executive Angela Alsobrooks said in a tweet, "While we are of our first female Fire Chief, Tiffany Green, we are even more proud of the female firefighters following in her footsteps."

The photo has since been shared all over social media with over 16,000 likes on Instagram and Twitter combined.

Let's give it up for our local "sheroes."  You go ladies!
