The fight for statehood gets REAL on Thursday -- when Congress will hold its first hearing in 25 years -- on a bill designed to turn DC into a full-fledged state. A special double-decker bus carrying Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton, The Mayor and other City leaders made its way down Pennsylvania avenue earlier -- right to the Capitol.
