Hurricane Florence: Latest Projected Path

Florence will create some showers and storms Friday but things improve over the weekend.
Florence continues to weaken and is now a categorty 2 with winds of 110 mph.

WASHINGTON - Hurricane Florence continues to spin in the open Atlantic and move toward the west-northwest and is getting more organized and larger. The Category 2 storm will near the coast of the Carolinas early Friday morning.

Florence will have a minimal impact on the D.C. Metro Area this weekend, but the remnants could impact the D.C. area next Monday and Tuesday.
