Alexandria, Virginia Christmas market returns Saturday

The festive event featuring everything from crafts and baked goods to jewelry kicks off on Dec. 10 at 11 a.m. in Old Town.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. — If you're looking to get ahead on your holiday shopping or simply get in the spirit, Alexandria will bring more than 100 artisans to Old Town Saturday to help you do just that on Saturday.

The annual event will take place at John Carlyle Square, where visitors will find artisans, crafters and local small businesses showcasing their creations, from crafts and baked goods to jewelry, body and hair care.

The event on Dec. 10, organized by Chic Events DC, will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and it is free to attend.
