ROCKVILLE, Md. — Southbound lanes of Rockville Pike were temporarily closed Monday afternoon due to a multi-vehicle crash.
Crews from Rockville City Police and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue cleared the crash scene near Congressional Lane in a little over an hour.
Very few details have been released, but officials say multiple cars were involved. There is no word on injuries or the cause of the crash at this time.
All southbound lanes in the area were closed, but have since reopened. Drivers were encouraged to find alternate routes.
