WOODBRIDGE, Va. — A woman was allegedly hit in the head with a glass bottle in Woodbridge, and the Prince William County Police Department (PWCPD) is looking for suspects.

Officers responded to investigate an assault near Dale Boulevard and Minnieville Road just before 10 a.m. Tuesday, according to a press release.

A 32-year-old woman was allegedly walking in the area when she was hit in the head with a glass bottle. Police said she was treated at an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.

A green pickup truck was seen driving nearby just after the victim was hit, police claim. There is no further suspect description.
