Leesburg Police are asking for help locating the driver involved in a hit and run

The car has damage to the front driver’s side panel and the rear passenger’s panel. It is unsure if those damages were sustained while he was evading the police.

LEESBURG, Va. — Leesburg Virginia Police have issued warrants for the arrest of 34-year-old Pablo Enrique Orellana-Flores. Orellana-Flores is facing a string of charges in connection to reckless driving incidents. The charges include two felony counts of attempted malicious wounding, two felony counts of hit and run, and more.

The series of incidents began Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. when Leesburg Police attempted to pull Orellana-Flores over in a 2016 white Chevy Camaro with Texas license plates for speeding. But instead of complying, he went flying down East Market Street. Taking the public’s safety into consideration, police decided not to pursue allowing him to flee the scene.

Shortly after, the Camaro was seen near Heritage High School on Evergreen Mills Road. When officers attempted to pull Orellana-Flores over, he sped off again. Once again, officers prioritized public safety over a high-speed chase.

The car has damage to the front driver’s side panel and the rear passenger’s panel. It is unsure if those damages were sustained while he was evading the police.

But now, Leesburg Police is asking for the community’s help. They are asking anyone with information regarding his whereabouts or the location of the car to contact police at 703-771-4500.
