2 women hospitalized after stabbing in Centreville

Police say the stabbing was domestic-related.

CENTREVILLE, Va. — Two women have been hospitalized after a stabbing in Centreville early Monday morning.

The Fairfax County Police Department announced on X, formerly known as Twitter, at 8:11 a.m. that a domestic-related stabbing happened on Brittney Elyse Circle, off of Centreville Farms Road. When they arrived at the location, they found two women injured due to the stabbing.

Both women were taken to the hospital to be treated for their injuries. No information has been released about the condition of the injured women. In addition, the women have not been identified, this includes their ages and names.

Police say there is a suspect in custody for the crime. No details have been released about the relationship between the people involved in the stabbing.

The investigation into the case remains active and ongoing.
