Prince George's County Executive, Angela Alsobrooks, receives the endorsement of Marc Elrich in her Senate campaign

County Executive Elrich praises Alsobrooks for her tireless advocacy on behalf of Marylanders, and believes she’s the best candidate for the Senate seat.

MARYLAND, USA — In a significant development for Angela Alsobrooks’ U.S. Senate campaign, Montgomery County Executive, Marc Elrich, has endorsed her candidacy. Alsobrooks has expressed an unwavering support to the people of Maryland. County Executive Elrich praised Alsobrooks for her tireless advocacy on behalf of Marylanders, and believes she’s the best candidate to represent the state in the Senate.

 “I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with Angela these last several years as we led the state’s two largest jurisdictions through an unprecedented global pandemic, and what I can tell you is that her care and concern has always extended beyond the borders of her county,” said County Executive Marc Elrich.

Elrich continues by saying, 

“She has a passion for our residents and she brings strength and skill to the job. She understands the importance of worker rights and the need for a decent wage and its importance to a healthy economy. We need her advocacy and leadership in the U.S. Senate.” 

Alsobrooks expresses her gratitude for County Elrich’s endorsement and their collaborative efforts addressing the issues that plague their communities, especially during the pandemic. 

“I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with County Executive Elrich on numerous issues that have impacted our communities, including working very closely together to keep our residents safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, and I am honored to receive his endorsement,” said Alsobrooks.

Alsobrooks has received endorsements from more than 100 leaders across the state of Maryland.
