DISTRICT HEIGHTS, Md. — Police in Prince George's County are investigating after a woman was shot and killed early Sunday morning in District Heights.
Officers responded around 2:15 a.m. to the 5800 block of Silver Hill Road – near the Silver Hill Plaza Shopping Center. When they arrived, they located a woman in a parking lot suffering from gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives are working to figure out what happened and identify suspects.
No other details have been released.
