Police say to be on the lookout for a woman carrying a baby believed to be involved in a stabbing

Officers responded to the 1200 block of 18th Place, NE for a reported stabbing on Tuesday.

WASHINGTON — Police are searching for a woman who was last seen holding a baby in connection to a stabbing in Northeast, D.C.

At 7:09 p.m., officers with the Metropolitan Police Department responded to the 1200 block of 18th Place, NE for a reported stabbing. At the scene, a man who had been stabbed was found. He was conscious and breathing when rushed to an area hospital for help.

Police are now on the lookout for a woman in connection to the stabbing.
