Man wanted for murder in Ohio apprehended in Virginia after police chase

Both officers and the suspect sustained minor injuries during the arrest.

FAIRFAX, Va. — A man wanted for murder in Ohio has been arrested in Fairfax County. A warrant was issued out of Franklin County for the arrest of Ryan Polk, 36, on Feb. 28. 

On Monday, at 6:05 p.m., officers from the US Marshals and Fairfax County Fugitive Tracking and Apprehension found Polk who was wanted for murder in another jurisdiction. Detectives then attempted to stop Polk who was behind the wheel of a vehicle. Polk reportedly attempted to flee, striking multiple patrol cars before finally being apprehended, police say.

Both officers and the suspect sustained minor injuries during the arrest.

WUSA9 is working on getting details on the warrant issued against Polk.
