WASHINGTON — Police are investigating after finding a teenager shot dead in an alley in Northwest, D.C. on Sunday. The victim has since been identified as as 17-year-old Jabari Malloy of Northwest, D.C.
Officers responded to the 700 block of Morton Street, NW for a reported shooting in the alleyway on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. At the scene, officers found Malloy with gunshot wounds in the rear alley. He died at the scene.
Police say to be on the lookout for a man wearing a camo hoodie and all dark clothing in connection to the deadly shooting. The suspect was last seen in the alley heading towards Lamont Street, NW.
The investigation into this deadly shooting is active and ongoing.
DC Police are offering a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction in this case. Anyone with information should call police at 202-727-9099 or text the department's tip line at 50411.
