RESTON, Va. — We are celebrating love... in a way that's not cheesy at all.
A local couple got engaged at The Melting Pot in Reston, that's a restaurant that specializes in cheese fondue among other delicious menu items. And that's exactly where a lucky guy named James decided to pop the question to his girlfriend Kristen Thursday night.
How's he pull of the surprise proposal? Well, the restaurant staff was in on it.
In fact, James won a contest with the crew doing all it could to make everything go off without a hitch. So when the server came out with the dessert, no doubt ready to be dipped in chocolate, James popped the big question.
