Here's what to expect at the Nationals home opener game

The game looks mostly dry, but a few showers can't be ruled out.

WASHINGTON — Excitement for the Washington Nationals first home game of the season on Monday is brewing, and so are rain chances.

Although a few showers throughout the game cannot be ruled out, other points during the game it will be cloudy and dry. Dress for temperatures in the 50s and bring rain gear to stay comfortable.

Highs on Monday will top out near 60 degrees. Winds shouldn't be a huge problem blowing out of the east at 5 to 10 miles per hours.

Here's what we expect to see Monday.

6 a.m - Noon

Periods of rain, heavy at times. Heaviest rain north of I-66, lighter showers south of I-66.

Noon- 6 p.m.

Off and on showers. Light to moderate rain expected with some breaks in the rain.

6-11 p.m.

Shower chances linger. Light to moderate rain will still be in the forecast as the game is ending.
