FORECAST DISCUSSION:
The hot and humid weather sticks around through Thursday.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be partly cloudy, hot and humid with isolated to scattered PM showers and thunderstorms. Any storm that pops up could be strong, producing heavy rain and gusty winds.  

Highs reach the mid 90s with the heat index between 100 and 105, very close to Heat Advisory criteria. Remember to stay hydrated, limit time outdoors in the afternoon, and never leave kids/pets in a car.

Tuesday the storm coverage increases a bit in the afternoon. We're expecting scattered thunderstorms, some could be heavy/strong. Before the storms it will be very hot and humid with highs in the low to mid 90s and the heat index on either side of 100. We will monitor Wednesday afternoon and evening for a Yellow Weather Alert.

A cold front will break our latest heat wave Thursday. Strong to severe storms may accompany the front Thursday afternoon and evening. Behind the cold front, Canadian high pressure brings a drop in temps and humidity Friday, through the weekend.

Friday: Partly cloudy, much cooler and less humid. Highs: Low 80s.
