Here's how you can travel the world without leaving DC

Embassies in D.C. will be opening their doors Saturday for tours, demonstrations and performances -- all open to the public.

WASHINGTON -- Embassies across Washington, D.C. are opening their doors to the public for the Around the World Embassy Tour.

The public is invited to go to different embassies and watch performances, demonstrations and experience the art and culture of different areas around the world on Saturday.

Karate demonstrations, dancing, henna demonstrations and sari wrapping lessons are some of the past features.

The following embassies are participating: Afghanistan, African Union, Albania, Argentina, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belize, Brazil, Bolivia, Botswana,, Cameroon, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Cote d'Ivoire, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana, Guatemala, Guinea, Guyana, Haiti, India, Indonesia, Iraq, Kenya, Korea, Japan,, Kosovo, Mexico, Morocco, Myanmar, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Qatar, Rwanda, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Trinidad and Tobago, Turkey, Uganda and Uzbekistan.

Admission is free, and all embassies are open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., unless otherwise noted.
