Traffic Alert: Leesburg commuters may be impacted by Biden motorcade Thursday

President Joe Biden is expected to attend an event to address House Democrats about the 2024 campaign in Virginia.

WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden is expected to address Democrats in Virginia on Thursday afternoon, which may lead to some traffic headaches for drivers around rush hour.

The president is slated to address members at the House Democratic Caucus Issues Conference in Leesburg.

Commuters in the immediate area around D.C. should be safe this time around since Biden will take Marine One instead of D.C.'s roads.

Drivers in the Leesburg area may not be so lucky.

Marine One is set to land at the Leesburg Executive Airport in the 3 o'clock hour Thursday afternoon with Biden set to address Democrats around 4 p.m. at the Lansdowne Resort. He'll be back in Washington by 6 p.m.
