Pedestrian struck, killed on Annapolis Road in Prince George's County

Police are still investigating what led to the collision

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. — A man is dead after he was hit by a driver on Annapolis Road over the weekend. Police are still working to learn what led up to the crash. 

Prince George's County Police Department officers were called to the 9400 block of Annapolis Road, near the Aldi in Seabrook, for the report of a pedestrian struck around 8:40 p.m. Once officers arrived they found a man in the road. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Police have not yet identified the man killed. The driver involved in the crash remained on the scene and was cooperating with investigators. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, police said.
