Bring eyewear, electronics, documents to shred to WUSA9's 'Recycle Day'

Join WUSA9 on Wednesday, April 17 and bring your paper to shred, recyclable electronics, eyeglasses and toner cartridges out to Reston.

WASHINGTON — The WUSA9 team is hosting another #EnvironmentMatters Recycling Day and we are inviting viewers out to Reston, Virginia. As part of our mission to inform, inspire and make a positive impact in our communities, we are committed to being champions of the planet.

Our latest #EnvironmentMatters Recycling Day will be held on Wednesday April 17 from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. We hope you will join us with any documents you need shredded, electronics you need recycled or old eyeglasses you want to be rid of.

The recycling days are free for participants.

Time: 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Where: 11951 Freedom Dr. Reston, VA 20190

Collecting: Eyeglasses, Home Electronics, Computers & Related Equipment, Paper Files & Documents/Magazines for Shredding and Toner Cartridges
