With salary cap restraints forcing change to the Washington Capitals roster, there are expected to be a few new, young faces in the lineup come October.

One of those faces is that of 2014 first round draft pick Jakub Vrana.

Vrana made his NHL debut during the 2016-17 season, registering three goals and three assists in 21 games for the Caps.

Vrana was eventually sent back down to Hershey, where he had 36 points in 49 games. His performances this season had mixed reviews from Capitals head coach Barry Trotz, and Hershey Bears head coach Troy Mann, but he's still being counted upon to make the NHL roster in September.
