Jun 2, 2018; Washington, DC, USA; Washington Capitals fans cheer before game three of the 2018 Stanley Cup Final against the Vegas Golden Knights at Capital One Arena.

WASHINGTON - The Capitals will host a watch party once again for Game 5 at Capital One Arena. But sorry Caps fans, tickets for the event are all gone.

The Caps are one win away from bringing home their first Stanley Cup title in franchise history, so demand for tickets--and possibly being part of a historic night in Washington--is extremely high.

Tickets were available at 1 p.m. Eastern on Wednesday, June 6. and were limited to two per person. Tickets sold out shortly after they became available.

Fans will enter the arena via the F Street and Gallery Place entrances. Seating is general admission and due to overwhelming demand, fans are encouraged to arrive early.

The game is set for this Thursday night at 8 p.m.

There was another way fans got their hands on one of the hottest tickets in D.C. sports history—and it involves one of the District’s other sports team.

The Washington Mystics—D.C.’s professional women’s basketball team—moved back their game Thursday to allow for the Caps watch party at night.

CAPS COVERAGE:

The Mystics game starts at 4 p.m. Anyone who got tickets to that game gets to stick around inside Capital One Arena and attend the Caps watch party. Doors open at 3 p.m. and tickets are free. Anyone who purchased tickets to the game will be automatically refunded.

The first 15,000 fans inside the arena will get a Caps rally towel. The concession stands will be open for the game and watch party. And more importantly, the Team Store will be open for fans wanting to get their hands on some Stanley Cup Final gear.

Capital One cardholders get a few extra perks (since it's Capital One Arena, and all). The Capital One VIP Cardholder Entrance will open at 2:45 p.m. for cardholders. The entrance is at 6th Street Northwest. They also get 10 percent off all food and beverage purchases and 20 percent off items in the team store.

Outside watch party

Anyone who can’t make it inside the biggest watch party in town will be able to see the game and take in all the excitement outside. Game 5 will be broadcast on videoboards at G Street and 8th Street Northwest starting at 8 p.m. Tickets aren’t required for the outside watch party.
