Police issue Silver Alert for missing 86-year-old Bethesda man with dementia

Police say 86-year-old Michael Roland Sasal was last seen around 10 a.m. Friday after dropping off a friend at a business on Butler Road in Bethesda.

BETHESDA, Md. — Montgomery County police needs your help locating a missing 86-year-old Bethesda man with dementia. 

Police say 86-year-old Michael Roland Sasal was last seen around 10 a.m. Friday after dropping off a friend at a business on Butler Road in Bethesda.

Family and friends say they have not been able to contact Sasal, since he drove off in his blue 2009 Honda CRV with Maryland tags: 1AX6434. 

Family and friends have been unable to contact Mr. Sasal since that time.

Michael Roland Sasal is described in a police report as a white male with brown eyes and white hair. He is about 5-foot-8 inches tall and weighs 155 pounds. He wears glasses and was last seen wearing a khaki jacket and blue jeans.

Police and family say they are concerned for Mr. Sasal’s welfare.

Anyone with information regarding Michael Roland Sasal’s whereabouts or anyone who sees his vehicle is asked to call 911 immediately.
