Rideshare Confessions | ‘I was stabbed... and we stopped to pick up strippers’

Atlanta rideshare drivers discuss things that are just "NOT COOL" when driving passengers around.
ATLANTA, Ga -- "I was stabbed and was headed to the hospital and we stopped to pick up strippers" 11Alive's Joe Floccari took a ride with some Atlanta rideshare drivers as they told horror stories from their rides.

ATLANTA - Have you used Uber or Lyft or are you are rideshare driver yourself?

Unlike a taxi, a rideshare driver is using their personal car and you never know who's getting in that back seat.

11Alive's Joe Floccari took a ride with some Atlanta rideshare drivers as they told horror stories from their rides.

One driver said he received a bad review after one interesting ride.

"I was stabbed and was headed to the hospital and we stopped to pick up strippers," his rideshare review stated.

The drivers dished on what they wished passengers would stop doing in the back of their car.

These are the top 10 things we learned, some might surprise you:

1. Don't get it on in the back seat. Most drivers we talked to had this shocking experience.

2. We don't get paid to wait! Rideshare drivers don't get paid to wait for you to go in the store and shop.

3. Smells! It's their personal car! Eating in the car or coming in smelly lingers the whole day.

4. Seatbelts and car seats! It's the law even in a rideshare. If you bring a child bring a car seat.

5. Drinking or doing drugs in the car! It's just not cool. Open containers are illegal even in a rideshare.

6. Trash! Take your trash with you!

7. Phone chargers! No, not every driver has the phone charger you need so don't expect it!

8. Don't use rideshare as an ambulance! If you need to go to the emergency room call a real ambulance.

9. Drunk people. Don't be rude to your driver.

10. Pool rides. If you choose a pool ride to understand other passengers need to be picked up before you are dropped off.
