FALLS CHURCH, Va. — UPDATE:
Authorities say 4-year-old Connor Ray Burruss and 13-year-old Summer Lanae Burruss have been located safely. The missing and endangered child alert has been canceled as a result.

Police are asking for the public's help locating two Falls Church children who are believed to be in danger after going missing on Sunday.
Investigators say 4-year-old Connor Ray Burruss and 13-year-old Summer Lanae Burruss are believed to be in "extreme danger." The children were last seen in the 100 block of Rowell Court in Falls Church, Virginia.
Connor is described as a 4-year-old boy with brown hair and brown eyes who is 3-foot-8 and weighs approximately 45 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, dark blue pants, and dark sneakers. Summer is described as 5-foot-2, 13-year-old girl with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue or dark hoodie with shorts and orange or peach Croc shoes.
Police say the pair was last seen on foot.
