Teenage girl and her infant daughter found safe after going missing

Police say the 17-year-old girl and her infant daughter have been located.

Police say both the 17-year-old girl and her infant daughter have been found safe. 

Original Story (April 23 at 8:00 p.m.):

Police are asking for the public's help finding a 17-year-old and her infant daughter who haven't been seen in more than 10 days.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, a 17-year-old girl and her 7-month-old baby haven't been seen since Friday, April 12. However, the pair weren't reported missing until Monday. 

They were last seen in the 5300 block of Clay Street, Northeast. 

The mother is described as a Black teenage girl, standing at 5-foot-8, weighing 160 pounds with brown eyes and red hair. She was last seen wearing a blue and green jacket with blue jeans. Her daughter is believed to be with her.
