Stabbing leaves man dead in Upper Marlboro

Detectives are working to figure out who is responsible for killing the man.

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. — An investigation is underway after a man was stabbed and killed in Upper Marlboro late Monday night.

Officers with the Prince George's County Police Department responded to Narrowleaf Drive, off of Mt. Lubentia Way and Harry S Truman Drive, around 11:50 p.m. after a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, they found a man inside suffering from stab wounds.

He was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injuries, but he died several hours later. The man has since been identified as 72-year-old Lee Harding Jr., of Largo.

Detectives are working to determine who is responsible for the crime and what led up to the deadly stabbing.
