Missing: Police search for 9-year-old boy in Frederick

Police are asking for the public's help to find Divine Andre Mbu.

FREDERICK, Md. — Police in Maryland are searching for a boy who has been reported missing. Frederick Police Department investigators are asking for the public's help to find him.

Missing person investigators are looking for 9-year-old Divine Andre Mbu. The circumstances surrounding Divine's disappearance are not known. Police have not said how long the boy has been missing, or where he was last seen. Investigators shared a photo of the young boy on social media in hopes that someone recognizes him.

Divine is described as about 3 feet 11 inches tall, between 65 and 70 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. Divine's photo can be seen below.

Detectives ask anyone who may have information about where the boy is to get in touch with Detective Skelly with the Frederick Police Department at at 240-529-8844 (call or text) or RSkelly@FrederickMDPolice.org.
