SEAT PLEASANT, Md. -- A man has died after police say he was shot my an armed store employee in Seat Pleasant, Md. on Wednesday evening.
The shooting happened inside of the Discount Mart after police say an altercation occurred between an employee and a man. Police say the employee legally owned his firearm.
At least one shot was fired and the man was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
There were at least a dozen witnesses to the shooting. Police say the man who was shot is an alleged shoplifter.
