Man robbed by 3 people inside a Target in Wheaton

The victim was inside the Target on Viers Mill Road when he was approached by three people who demanded he hand over his property.

WHEATON-GLENMONT, Md. — Police are investigating after a man was robbed while shopping inside a Target at the Westfield Wheaton Shopping Center Wednesday.

According to the Montgomery County Department of Police, the victim was inside the Target on Viers Mill Road when he was approached by three people who demanded he hand over his property. The man refused and that is when the group forcibly stole the man's items before running away. 

Surveillance cameras captured the robbery, which police have released in hopes that someone will recognize the robbers. 

Police describe the suspects as a boy between 14 and 20 years old, wearing a black mask, black jacket with red lining and gray sweatpants with gray shoes, another boy or man wearing a black mask, black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes and a third young man with curly hair wearing a black hoodie with the words "Nevermind the spider, here's the slime" in yellow writing and "pink" in pink writing, black jeans and black shoes. 

Anyone with information may contact Montgomery Co. Crime Solvers at www.crimesolversmcmd.org or call 1-866-411-8477. A reward of up to $10,000 is offered for information leading to the suspects’ arrest. Tips may remain anonymous.
