3 people arrested in connection to killing of Germantown man

All three are being held without bond at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit.

GAITHERSBURG, Md. — A Germantown man's body was found in a wooded area in February, and now police say they have arrested three people in connection to his death.

On Feb. 8, officers with the Montgomery County Department of Police found the body of 35-year-old Delondre Levert Sawyer on Games Preserve Road, sparking an investigation, which led to identifying the trio, all from Gaithersburg.

On March 5, arrest warrants charging 24-year-old Alicia Carson-Brown with accessory after the fact, first-degree murder and motor vehicle/unlawful taking were obtained. The next day additional charges were obtained for Carson-Brown, according to police, to include armed robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. She was arrested in Gaithersburg.

Police say on March 6, arrest warrants for 36-year-old Quinnton Eric Brown and 26-year-old DeAngelo McRoy were issued, charging them both with first-degree murder, armed robbery, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Brown was taken into custody in Gaithersburg on March 7, while McRoy, already in custody for something unrelated, was served with the warrant on Tuesday.

All three are being held without bond at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit.
