DISTRICT HEIGHTS, Md. — A Prince George’s County man was arrested Tuesday on charges of distribution and possession of child pornography, Maryland State Police said.
James Garrison, 51, of District Heights, Maryland was arrested at his home and charged with two counts of distribution of child pornography and seven counts of possession of child pornography.
Police said the investigation began in March when they found child porn files being distributed online that were traced back to Garrison.
Around 5 a.m. Tuesday, police served a search warrant for Garrison's home where they found several child porn files on his electronic devices.
Authorities seized all the devices and handed them over to the Maryland State Police Digital Forensics Laboratory.
Police said Garrison was arrested "without incident."
