WASHINGTON — Police are investigating after a woman was stabbed in Northwest D.C. Monday afternoon.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 600 block of Irving Street, NW just before 2:45 p.m.
When investigators arrived, they found a woman who had been stabbed. She was conscious and breathing when first responders took her to an area hospital for help.
Since the stabbing, police have announced they are on the lookout for a 23-year-old man, standing around 5-foot-5 and wearing a black jacket, black pants and green Nike shoes. This man was last seen in the alleyway behind the locations headed towards Kenyon Street, NW.
