Where is this missing DC accountant? His fiancée wants answers

Katie Park says the last time she heard from her fiance, David Stern, was the day he went missing. That was November 27.

WASHINGTON -- Concern is growing for a D.C. accountant who went missing November 27. D.C. Police have listed the disappearance of David Stern as critical.

Katie Park says the last time she heard from her fiance, David Stern, was the day he went missing. He texted her at 4:22 p.m. to say that he was leaving work early to go to the doctor and would be home later. Around 6 p.m., Stern was filmed on surveillance video at the Dixie liquor store in Georgetown on M Street.

Park said this was out of character for him since he did not have any friends in Georgetown and did not go there often.

Stern is an accountant at Center City Charter School in D.C. Park says Stern wasn't depressed and is hoping he will be found alive. Since his November 27 disappearance, Stern hasn't visited a bank and there's been no credit card activity. He left behind his backpack, inhaler, and a brokenhearted fiancee.

"We just want to know that you're okay. So many people have reached out, that you may not even know that you've impacted their lives. We just want some indication that you're okay," said Park.

Stern is 5'9 and weighs 170 pounds. He has brown eyes and hair. If you have any information, call DC Police. Park says police are searching the waters near the key bridge and friends and co-workers have been looking for David on foot.
