Power restored for thousands of residents in Northeast DC

Pepco said they don't know what caused the outage.

WASHINGTON — Power has been restored early Tuesday morning for more than 7,000 residents in the District.

Around 10 p.m. on Monday, thousands were without power. 

According to Pepco, they started seeing outages around 9:30 p.m. and dispatched repair crews to the troubled area in Northeast D.C.

They said they are not sure what exactly caused the outage.
