Police seeking suspect in brick attack in NW, DC

In the video, the suspect appears intoxicated as he wanders around in front of the venue, struggles to climb over a fence, and speaks with another group of people. 
The suspect is seen in surveillance camera. 

Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who struck a victim in the head with a brick on Sunday, October 8 in NW, D.C.

The person of interest in the case, which has been classified as an assault with a deadly weapon, can be seen on surveillance camera by the establishment he was in on 14th street, NW. In the video, the suspect appears intoxicated as he wanders around in front of the venue, struggles to climb over a fence, and speaks with another group of people. At one point, he shakes someone else’s hand.

At approximately 3:20 a.m., the suspect threw a brick, striking the victim in the head, before fleeing. The victim suffered non-life threatening issues and refused medical treatment.

DC police is offering up to $1,000 for anyone with information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the person of interest involved in this crime. Anyone with information should call police at (202) 727-9099 or text your tip to the Department's TEXT TIP LINE at 50411.
