Police investigate shooting in Northeast, 1 dead and 3 men wounded

Police have not released the severity of the victims' injuries or their identities.

WASHINGTON — D.C. police are investigating a shooting that left three men wounded and one dead in Northeast Friday night.

Officers received calls just before 10 p.m. for reports of a shooting in the 1200 block of Raum Street, Northeast, just one block away from the Trinidad Recreation Center.

When police arrived they found one of the men, in the street suffering from gunshot wounds. Another was located inside an apartment unconscious and not breathing. Donte Dudley, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two additional men transported themselves to area hospitals. Their injuries are believed to be non-life threatening. At this time, police have not released the identities of the remaining victims.

Preliminary reports show the shooting occurred inside of the apartment, but no details on the events leading up to the crime have been released.

Police are now offering $25,000 to anyone with information that leads to an arrest and conviction. Anyone with information may contact detectives at (202) 727-9099 or text the department's tip line at 5044.
