WASHINGTON -- A man is dead after a shooting that happened near the parking lot of a convenience store in Northeast, D.C., Metropolitan police said.
The shooting happened around 12:54 a.m. in the 1200 block of Mount Olivet Rd., in the area of the parking lot of the Circle Seven Express convenience store.
Police are searching for two black male suspects in connection with the shooting. One man was wearing blue jeans and a white shirt. The second suspect was wearing all black clothing and was in a yellow Dodge Charger.
The suspects were last seen headed eastbound n Mount Olivet towards West VA Ave.
