WUSA9 reached out to the Brown family on Friday for comment. His sister told us that "Reggie was kind, quiet, and polite person, didn't bother anyone, everybody loved him." She said she was glad police finally caught the suspects but said she and the rest of her family have been plagued with the same question since his murder: Why?

Reggie Brown is described as the type of person who stayed to himself. He grew up in the Brightwood neighborhood for 64 years.
