WASHINGTON -- There's nothing DC loves more than when you combine their love of politics and their love of half off drinks.
A DC bar offers a special deal on happy hour drinks whenever President Donald Trump fires a White House official. This time its Scott Pruitt, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator who resigned Thursday afternoon.
The Bird is offering $4 happy hour drinks from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, including their "Pruitt Blew It" cocktail special. Compared to their usual prices that range from $5 beer to $8 cocktails, this is definitely a deal to take advantage of.
The #YoureFired happy hour has happened many other times, including when VA Secretary David Shulkin and White House aide Kelly Sadler got the boot. Both having their own special drinks named after them.
At those deals, The Bird better get ready for the flock of people coming to this happy hour.
