WASHINGTON — A bicyclist was taken to the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Northwest, D.C. early Tuesday evening, according to DC police.
The accident happened around 4 p.m. in the 1600 block of New Jersey Avenue NW.
Police say the bicyclist was conscious and breathing when officers arrived and was transported to the hospital.
Police say the driver stayed on the scene after the accident.
