Police release ID of man wearing bulletproof vest in NE DC

MPD said Moises Declid was last seen in the area of Georgia Avenue in Northwest.

WASHINGTON — Police have identified a man who was seen wearing a bulletproof vest at a gas station late Thursday night, according to the MPD. 

D.C. police say 25 year-old Moises Delcid is the man seen in the surveillance photos released on Friday. Delcid is wanted in reference to a Probation Violation warrant and a DC Superior Court traffic bench warrant.  

Police said Delcid was driving a black moped and described him as a Middle Eastern male. According to police, there is no evidence to suggest he had a gun. 

He was last seen in the area of Georgia Avenue in Northwest.

Both the Prince George's County and D.C. police departments are searching for Delcid.
