Police say Worku has been found safe.

Police are asking for the community's help finding a missing 81-year-old Alexandria man who is alleged to be suffering from a cognitive impairment. He is believed to be a danger to himself.
Virginia State Police issued a Senior Alert on behalf of the Alexandria City Police Department at 6:45 p.m. for missing Mulugeta Worku.
Worku is described as a Black man, 5-foot-6, 150 pounds, with brown eyes and white hair. His car was last seen on Thursday at 4:31 p.m. on Bevan Drive and Fairfax Boulevard in Fairfax County by traffic cameras.
Investigators believe he is possibly wearing a grey sweater, tan pants, and white shoes, and driving a white 2007 Dodge Caliber Sedan with Virginia plates: WWG-2732.
Worku is believed to be suffering from a cognitive impairment. Police say his disappearance poses a credible threat to his safety.
