DC police: Man, juvenile injured in Southeast double shooting

WASHINGTON -- A man and a young boy were shot in Southeast on Wednesday night, according to D.C. police. 

Officers were called to the 3500 block of 22nd Street for a shooting. They arrived to find an adult male who was shot. The adult male died, and has been identified as 39-year-old Bruce Gilmore of Southeast, officials said.

Shortly after, police said a juvenile male who was also shot in this incident walked into a local hospital. He was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

No suspect information has been released at this time.
