WASHINGTON -- Washington, D.C. has the highest use of drugs in the entire country, according the a new report from the personal finance website, Wallethub.
The national's capital scored 59.95 percent, ranking as number one for the highest use of drugs and addiction.
According the findings of the report, the District of Columbia also ranked in the top five for highest use of drugs by adults and teenagers.
Michigan, Missouri, Indiana and West Virginia followed D.C. for the highest use of drugs in the country. To see the full ranking, click here.
In order to determine which states have the biggest drug problems, WalletHub compared the 50 states and D.C. in three categories: drug use and addiction, law enforcement and drug health issues and rehab.
