Police are searching for suspects accused of vandalizing a church in Montgomery County

A preliminary investigation determined that the burglars broke into the church overnight and used a fire extinguisher to vandalize the church.

GAITHERSBURG, Md. — Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police are asking for the community’s help identifying three young men accused of burglarizing and vandalizing the Wheaton Community Church. 

On March 12, officers responded to the 3200 block of Paul Drive at 3:19 p.m. for reports of an alleged burglary that occurred earlier that day. 

A preliminary investigation determined that the burglars broke into the church overnight and used a fire extinguisher to vandalize the church.

Surveillance cameras from the property captured the suspects.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is being asked to contact police.
